Ragunan Zoo Remains Open on December 24

Ragunan Zoo will operate normally on Monday, December 24, 2018. Because it is coincided with collective leave day ahead of Christmas celebration.

Only this time, we replace it into Wednesday (12/26) because Monday (12/24) is coincided with collective leave day ahead of Christmas

As information, Monday is set as animal holiday in Ragunan Zoo and zoo management usually uses it to check animals' health. Thus management replaces animal holiday into Wednesday (12/26).

"Only this time, we replace it into Wednesday (12/26) because Monday (12/24) is coincided with collective leave day ahead of Christmas. So, this Monday we will remain open the zoo," conveyed Sabdo Kurnianto, Ragunan Zoo Management Acting Head (Plt), Sunday (12/23).

Ragunan Zoo Prepares 1,000 Personnel for Christmas and New Year Holidays

He informed, tomorrow Ragunan Zoo will be opened from 6.30 AM until 4 PM . Management also prepares animal keepers in each animal cages to monitor animals' health.

"We have special animal keepers, including veterinarians who monitor animals and prevent visitors from giving food or disturbing animals thus animals don't get sick and stressed," he explained.
